The Villages

Located in the heart of John’s Island just off of Maybank Highway, the community of The Villages is comprised of single-family homes ranging in size from 2,000 to 3,000 square feet. Divided into several distinct villages, each offers a unique atmosphere and housing style. Some of these include two-story homes, single story cottages, bungalows and “Charleston single” homes, with most constructed between 2003 and 2008. Many of the homes also back up to the woods, providing an added layer of privacy to the homeowner. Residents of The Villages enjoy use of a variety of community amenities. These include a swimming pool, wading pools, a clubhouse, a playground, a neighborhood pavilion and leisure trails. The community also features protected wetlands, a lake and a six-acre park. Downtown Charleston is just 10 miles away, while Folly Beach is 14 miles away.
